Marine Surveyor

CF Spencer and Co Ltd are seeking to recruit a Marine Engineer to be based in our West country office in Banwell, near Bristol, to work alongside our existing team. 

Applicants must:

• have A class 1 certificate of competency steam and/or Motor,
• be able to travel both nationally and internationally at short notice if required,
• have sound practical and theoretical knowledge of hull, machinery, material, equipment and safety systems of ships.

Tanker and/or gas experience would be an advantage although this is not a requirement.

This will be a full time salaried post. We offer surveying and consultancy to clients in a variety of fields as well as expert witness testimony in court.

The appointment could lead to a senior position for the right person. Previous experience in survey and consultancy would be an advantage.
