An experienced professional mariner holding a Certificate of Competency as Master Mariner (FG) with 8 years command experience. He has detailed knowledge of the Middle East and was based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia for 10 years in operations with a major liner company and as Surveyor and General Manager for a local marine survey company.

A member of the Nautical Institute, Member of the Society of Consulting Marine Engineers and Ship Surveyors and a Supporting Member of the LMAA. He is currently a Deputy Harbour Master and Pilot for the Port of Bridgwater.

His knowledge and experience is underpinned by 34 years experience in the maritime sector.

Service on coastal dry cargo, coastal products tankers and aggregate dredgers. Specialist experience in dry bulk cargos, clean oils, onboard fuel oil blending for bunker supply and aggregate dredging.

Licensed pilot for the River Parrett and the Port of Bridgwater.
